New Job

I got an internship that I love. Due to the fact that this is a public Web page I won't tell where but I thought I could still tell you what I've been doing. I am working as a Public Health Manager creating and running a brand new work-site wellness program. In addition to the employee program I am creating patient education materials. I've had a few chances to work with patients so far and it's been just amazing.

I feel so blessed with the opportunities I've been given to work where I am and with the people I work with. Because my position is new I've learned there is so much more I need to do on my own with out anyone telling em what to do. It's a unique experience but it's helped me learn so much.

This last week I went to go help clean the temple. It was wonderful and I learned so much in those quiet hours of vacuuming. I never knew there was so much carpet.  In the lord's house, even when it comes to cleaning, you don't want to cut corners. I found myself back tracking many times because i thought i might have missed a spot and i didn't want to short change the lord. So many times in life we "cut corners" simply by settling with good enough or justify it because it's easier. We need to look at obebeince to the gospel like cleaning in the temple. Although no one but us might see it we still know inside if we are cutting corners and so does he.

As we strive to do our best and do all we can we are blessed for obedience. Obedience is the power through which we receive all the blessings of God. As yourself if you are cutting yourself short but cutting corners in the tasks of a disciple.  I hope this all makes sense. I am going to include the link to the Webpage I'm running with health Information so all of you can find out more of what I'm doing and how YOU can make a change for the better for your health. Remember change is a process not an event! Don't cut yourself short!
